Hawaiian Baby & Mommy

Aeva fell asleep in her high chair during dinner today while eating corn on the cob.

Who is this kid?  My kid has never fallen asleep unless she’s in a car seat, a carrier, a stroller, or complete darkness with a fan on.

She’s sleeping on the living room floor now while the guys saw and hammer on the wall right outside to build a new deck.  What.

Aeva is wearing a stretchy Hello Kitty headband around her waist like a belt.  Haha, I love her creativity.　

Aeva has had a tough time going to bed at night since a certain ‘incident’ that shall remain nameless, but she’s been sleeping until 9AM.  Glorious.　

“This is heavy!” (Carrying a little table)

“I want that!” (To Jake while he was drinking a milkshake)

“Gee-ow Weena!” (Weena = Lina our cat, Gee-ow is a made up word we use in our household to tell someone to go away)

“Nigh-nigh kitty” (Putting all the toy kitties to bed)

“No mama eat, I eat” (Anytime she wants me to give her my food)

And then her current favorite things to say:

“More”

“Go!”

“Meow”

“Didah” (shoes - no idea why she calls them this)

She has a sinus infection on top of her allergies.  Poor girl.  Now she’s on three meds a day, but at least she loves the taste of her newest one.  I’m looking forward to her feeling better, sinus infections suck.

Today is not an easy day in parenting.

My head hurts from all the screaming.  Maybe I’ll join her.　

I made banana quinoa pudding in my slow cooker, and Aeva is gobbling it up like there’s no tomorrow.

Guess we’ll be doing this again.
